I've dedicated this entry to the MSpaint comp to :iconbijoux91: because the Supreme Kai's her fav DBZ character. This took ages to finish, about two weekends at least. Originally I had a different background, but the perspective wasn't working out like I'd planned, so I opted for mountains instead.

For the coloring, I used the cell shading method, then blended the colors into each other using the pencil tool. Also used the spray can tool for the trees on the nearest mountain :)

Wonderful detail, and nice composition! It's nice to see someone drawing Supreme Kai, he doesn't have enough fans!

I think mountains work really well for the background. What was it supposed to be originally?

They both look pretty darn awesome. :D And to think you did it on paint... You've really gotten good at that. It's such a tricky program after all... ;P

Yeah, I thought that too once I'd put them in instead. Originally they were just flying over countryside, with a couple of those rounded houses here and there and a farm. I had an ocean and mountains in the far distance, but it just wasn't working very well. Kinda a bummer since I wasted a bit of time designing and coloring it all :unimpressed:
